What, you’ve never been to a fête votive?

Traditional summer festival in the Languedoc region and more generally southern France, the fête votive is organised around bull games (including in the Gard region, Camarguaises games such as the running of bulls, toro-piscine, etc.), village meals, funfairs and various other events and games. They are a great opportunity to visit the region’s pretty local villages and immerse yourself in local life, traditions and culture.
